HalloZINE FAIR Accessibility Information

We want to make sure our fair is as accessible as possible to all. We aim to provide a relaxing environment where visitors are free to browse at their own leisure, interact with the activities as they feel comfortable, take breaks when they need to, and stim.

Access from George IV Bridge is level from the pavement, through doors that open automatically. There are lifts (width: 872mm) for wheelchair users on either side of the stairs. Library staff can help with operating the lift if needed. The HalloZINE FAIR will take place in the Event Room on the left-hand side of the stairs/lifts and is all on one level.

There is a unisex accessible toilet on the ground floor and on the first floor.

Refreshments are available at the library café which is on the ground-floor across from the Event Room. There is level access to the café, the library gift shop, and library exhibitions. The locker room has tables and chairs where you can enjoy your own food and drink.

Face masks are encouraged, and we will provide free face masks and hand sanitiser. You will find this on the Coin-Operated Press table as you enter the fair space, as well as on the drop-in zine-making table, zine swap table, and in the workshop space.
