Dungeon Maven Games
Huntsville, Alabama, USA
A maven is an “expert” or “connoisseur”. That’s me; I’m on a quest to make table top gaming more accessible to new players by sharing my experiences and knowledge! I’m also a lady out to show fans and newbies alike that D&D is not just for boys. I’ve been making zines for three years and playing the game since 2011. I love meeting players and hearing their stories. Come say hello at my table!

Sean Dempsey graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sequential Art. His independent comics focus on curiosity and adventure through traveling or misfit characters. Whether in a comic, illustration, or cartoon, Sean’s stories embrace a balance of innocent and cynical protagonists. He hopes to create diverse, relatable characters that the audience can witness their inner growth, discovery, and individuality.

My name is Chloe Henderson. I am an Edinburgh-based interdisciplinary artist. I make art inspired by the natural world, mythological creatures, faerytales, nerd culture, and the radical idea that humans should be kind to every living thing. Through my illustration work, I journeyed into the world of zine-making and I am one of the co-founders of Coin-Operated Press! I make zines inspired by my experiences with anxiety, love, feminism, geocaching, and cats!
Fuzzy Cherry Zine
Fuzzy Cherry Zine is the creation of DC and PA-based zine enthusiast Ira Golthi (me). After a childhood spent making stapled-together books, a teenage-hood spent collecting zines from Etsy and the local record store, and college years spent too busy for hobbies, I decided to make 2020 the year that I seriously start making my own zines! My zine work consists of mainly black and white drawings and text, although that may change in the future. Each issue of Fuzzy Cherry is about a completely different subject, and I intend to keep it that way.
Regional By Sam
Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA
Sam has always been an “artist” but is a relatively new zinester based in Doylestown, PA. She recently opened a new Instagram account dedicated to her art (@RegionalBySam) and loves to exchange/share zines. Most of her work is inspired by her daily life, mental health issues, random doodles/poetry, and King Princess.
Caw & Paw
Caw and Paw is a small press nestled away in the drab confines of the English countryside! Founded by the creative poetry duo Joseph Dunkerley (writer / illustrator) and Holly Miles (writer / tea drinker), this quirky small press specialises in poetry and experimental zines. Once the global pandemic fizzles out, Caw and Paw hope to invest in a van and become the worlds first small press on wheels!
Tentaclerental is Ren Wednesday, a queer zine-maker, artist, carer, sometime podcaster, and fledgling drummer who lives in Glasgow and is acquiring hobbies at an alarming rate. Their published zines are both personal and fictional, and explore themes including queer identity and death and memory. They also enjoy drawing cats.
JEN PAYNE is no stranger to the zine phenomenon. Her first zine —The Latest News — came out in the early 1990s during the golden age of Factsheet Five and Mike Gunderloy. Since those early days writing The Latest News, Jen has enjoyed putting her writing out into the world through the online lit/art journal Creative Soup, her blog Random Acts of Writing (www.randomactsofwriting.net), and as part of art installations, literary magazines, and anthologies. Her most recent effort, Three Chairs Publishing, is a vehicle for her four published books and other creative projects, like Manifest (zine).

Hello, my name is Solansh Moya. I am a zinester and writer. I make perzines, which are personal zines about my thoughts and feelings about things in my personal life. Making personal zines is extremely important because it’s a way for me to reach out to other people to feel less alone in the world. Through my zines, I want people to feel heard, understood, and loved. I want them to feel like they’ve found a friend in me. I want people to feel less alone.
Curious to learn how to become a feminist activist, play guitar, or make your own zine? Nina of Echo Zines makes zines and mini-zines with a strong DIY and personal-political focus about feminism, music, self-care, and travelling to zine-fests. Recently she has self-published comic zines about life during the pandemic and her band Lavender Witch has released their first zine (+ CD). Echo Zines also has range of feminist, ziney, and holiday-themed postcards available.

Jess uses found words and erasure to create hybrid texts that reflect on mental health, relationships, and the body. Her background is in the history of medicine and the brain in antiquity, and she’s currently writing a book about ancient and modern psychiatry. When she’s not tinkering with history or making zines, she studies tarot. What she loves most of all is thinking about how we tell stories and devise metaphors to make sense of the movement of our lives.
